A sample week

“Who's calling
the new families?”

Tuesday's staff meeting is nearly over. For the third week, someone asks who is following up with new families. Everyone cares. Everyone thought someone else was doing it.

  1. Before the next meeting

Alex adds the question to Meeting Questions ahead of time. The team brings the missing information, so they can spend their time together deciding what to do.

  2. When the team meets

They agree that Alex will make the calls by Friday. They record an Action Step with an owner and a due date, so everyone knows what happens next.

  3. By Friday

Alex marks the Action Step complete after making the calls. At the next meeting, the team can see what happened and decide what still needs attention.

That's why the structure matters: prepare before you meet, make decisions together, and leave with a next step someone owns.
